Panama boasts the lowest tariffs in the Americas, and is truly a shopper's paradise. Whether its fashion, computers, electronics, antiques or local artwork you desire, you're certain to find what you are looking for. Panamanian supermarkets offer a large selection of American products, including two PriceMart stores in Panama City and one in David.
Numerous fine restaurants are located throughout the city, with practically every cuisine style available. Also, many large American franchise and chain restaurants have locations within Panama including: Bennigan's and TGI Friday's not to mention McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Dominos, KFC etc.
Marinas
Bordering the Caribbean Sea and the North Pacific Ocean, Panama is a boater's paradise. In several regions of the country, large marinas and yacht clubs are home to professional yachtsmen and leisurely sailors alike. There are thousands of small islands surrounding the country great for exploration and the area is known for its spectacular fishing and scuba diving. Some of the more well-known fishing and boaters utilize the Gamboa Causeway and public pier, the Panama Yacht club in Balboa, Diablo Spinning Club and the Flamenco Yacht Club.
